ElectroRecycle will be collecting small appliances and power tools for recycling on February 18, 2023 at Deep Cove Elementary School alongside the North Saanich Repair Cafe. We’re excited to partner with the Repair Cafe to offer everyone this free opportunity for a variety of household items to be fixed, as well as recycle small appliances and power tools all in one spot!
What can I have repaired?
- Electrical items like small appliances & power tools (eg. toasters, vacuums, portable fans)
- Computers, phones, tablets & other computer accessories
- Other small household items – if you can carry it in volunteer fixers will try their hand at repairing it with you!
**If you’re aware the fix requires a specific part, please bring it.
What can I drop off for recycling?
ONLY small appliances and power tools with a cord or battery will be accepted for recycling. This includes blenders, vacuums, electric kettles, hairdryers, fans, electric saws, & microwaves. Visit our ACCEPTED PRODUCTS PAGE to discover the 400+ types of items that can be recycled with ElectroRecycle!
PLEASE NOTE: light bulbs, computers, TV’s, printers, & audio equipment WILL NOT be accepted for recycling. Please call 604-RECYCLE or search RCBC’s Recyclepedia online to find a recycling solution for these items near you.
