RecycleFest 2019

RecycleFest is returning to Trout Lake on July 13th!

For the past four years, ElectroRecycle has hosted RecycleFest, a community celebration at Vancouver’s Trout Lake Community Centre dedicated to recycling. It’s a great chance to bring your family and friends out to enjoy the fun and games. It’s definitely the best day of the year to recycle your broken and unwanted electrical small appliances and power tools!

RecycleFest is all about gathering people together to celebrate the importance of sustainable living, repairing and recycling! Check out our Facebook event page and be sure to save the date!

Where to find us?

RecycleFest will be taking place on July 13th, at the east end of Trout Lake Park, from 10 am to 3 pm. Admission for the event is completely free. Take a look through the full list of items you can bring us to recycle to see if there’s anything you can drop off.

Accepted small appliances

Please note that this program does not collect electronics: TVs, laptops, phones, printers, etc.

Every year at RecycleFest, we’re blown away by the community’s support and how many recyclables you bring us. Last year, we were able to recycle 1,265 kg (the equivalent weight of a rhinoceros!), and we’re hoping to surpass that this year!
